Guest Service Representatives are responsible for providing the highest quality service possible to guests while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
*All employees are required to greet and assist any guest in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and helpful manner at all times.
*Ensures guest satisfaction, completes check-in and check-out procedures, receives guest requests and/or complains and ensures that appropriate actions have been taken.
*Maintains good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with knowledgeable responses.
*Answer all incoming calls and inquiries, communicate with all departments, accurately communicates hotel rates and information, and uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights to increase occupancy and revenue while maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
*Balance cash receipts accurately, checks all future arrivals, and completes bucket check on all shifts.
*Provides assistance to other associates, and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the hotel.
*Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
This position requires flexibility to work all shifts, good attendance, punctuality and dependability. Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude at all times, work independently, handle stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment, and adjust to frequent changes from one activity to another during peak times. High quality of service is the emphasis.
