The City of West Chicago has announced that the 2017 State of the City Address will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 475 Main Street. The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the event and provide refreshments prior to the start of the Address at 5:30 p.m.
The State of the City provides residents and businesses an opportunity to learn more about the past year and what is being planned for the future of West Chicago. Mayor Ruben Pineda will deliver the Address and share information on topics most important to citizens including the budget, economic development, community initiatives, and government operations.
This year’s theme, Partnerships Make it Possible, will shine a spotlight on the many ways in which collaboration with other groups and organizations has strengthened programs, services, and community amenities, and benefited the community as a whole.
This is a free public event, and seating is provided on a first come first serve basis. For additional information, contact the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce at (630) 231-3003.
